Wooden Like Flower
Fall in the air with the smell of leaves dying
Birds in sky so beautifully flying
The songs they sing are mellow
And match the colors of red, orange, brown and yellow
I hear my classmates laughing and talking
And their echo's very much stalking
I walk away to a tree stump
And there lying of a colorful lump
A wooden like well-rounded flower
So little, brown and pointy with power
Its smell of wood but also scentless
So plain but a hint of cuteness
IN the middle of a forest of trees
In a pile of many fallen leaves
Lays a pinecone
A beautiful pinecone.
