(Climate) CHANGE
Expectation of change,
but the blame isn’t claimed.
Explosive action churns
whilst begging and praying.
Boiling anger peaks
The consequence matters
Diminished, ignored.
Frustration evaporates
Helpless.
Inevitable future,
the fault is your own.
Mockery is received
Is this what it takes to be heard?
Too tired,
weak.
Hard to breath
Bite our tongue
Respect for the elders.
The past prevails
And once it catches us,
The future will be too far behind.

When writing this piece, I had in mind crises in the world today that go ignored. We are the future generations, and although it is a given we must act now to help resolve the climate crises, we cannot, we are helpless.
No matter how far we go, our efforts are futile. We are not heard, and the clock is ticking.
