Under The Glass Moon
Take a look at me in this picture,
Wide smile that’s never looked richer
Everyone in the family is over the moon; especially her, looming over me.
You’d never guess the photo was taken when the soul was broken
And rain pelted down like blood.
Trimmed with glass, eyes shut and curtains covered
Can’t you hear us screaming SOS? Sirens wailing out of our chests
Get a little closer and you’ll see
The bond is just imaginary
At least give me a chance to smile here in this world of opaque glass
Communication isn’t part of our style
But I can’t let the flying shards pass; not anymore.
Let’s dye our worlds; even we can’t wield these swords,
I just have to get through you and we can beat this game.
So let’s drown our worlds; let the moon catch us in the waves,
After our rendezvous through hell we can end this game.
