Forbidden Fruit
I never expected this feeling,
The thoughts of lust are stronger than I imagined,
Every day it grows,
And every day the pain intensifies
Wishing that I can be with you on this dreaded night.
I have never felt a pain that I loved in my life,
But that pain is starting to hurt
The less I see you.
My perpetuate love for you is shared by someone else
As he is with you
And I am all by my lonesome.
My heart beats to your voice,
My lungs fill with your passing fragrance
Hoping that it would replace the oxygen in my lungs.
I exhale.
I want to tell you my feelings of
Love but you are with someone else,
You are the first of the last three.
You are the apple that is forbidden,
And I have taken a bite,
Savoring the taste
As I lose my innocence.
I must let go.

A love that is believed to be forbidden and hope is lost. Clinging to the love but knowing you must go on, even if it cuts deep and scars are prominent.
