Those stars

Will always remind me

Of that night

When the angel of death

Crept around the corner in

The form of a fast-moving car

Crashing into a carpool of characters

That I’m not sure I can fully function without

It's all my fault because

They were on the way to me

On the way to a pitiful party pulled together by people

Who don’t have any reason to care for me

And now

Are not able to

Except from the skies

Because of me.

This awful angel took from me

the lives of my people

Not my sister

Not my best friend

Does this make me unworthy of mourning?

This mean life is killing off my side characters

One by one

Not my greatest love,

But my first one.

Not my grandpa,

But my best friends.

Not my daughter,

But I care for her.

My closet now purely consists

Of black combinations of clothes

Taunting me with tantalizing tasks

Of crawling out of bed

Again and again
