Flower Children
Larkspur and hollyhock,
Pink rose and the bright purple stocks.
Lovely smelling mignonette,
Bobbing heads of daffodils not quite opened yet.

Water Lillies and peachy peonies.
Softly their names are nice to say,
Their wispy words dissolve into springtime’s playful day.
