A Tower of Poetry
Poetry is a tower to me,
Slowly building up and up,
Building upon words and phrases,
Once upon a time…
Painting the beautiful garden first,
The greenery dazzling the view,
The flowers decorate their stems.
Painting the lake surrounding the tower next,
From the shimmering waters,
To the deep blue color.
Painting the life around it next,
The humming blue birds singing each day,
Harmonizing with the autumn breeze.
Painting the tower,
Tall and grand,
Magnificent and bold.
Then there’s the princess,
Benevolent and kind,
Starting their fairytale.
The prince comes along,
Brave and strong,
Closing their fairytale.
Happily ever after.
