Complicated
She frowns and I freak out,
‘Oh man, did I just blackout?’
No, I did it a lot, but not this time,
This time it’s different, it’s still daytime,
So what did I do wrong?
I’d been her boyfriend yearlong,
I should know why she was mad,
But I just feel confused and dumb instead,
She waits for me to respond,
But I know her patience lasts a second,
Soon she’ll be so complicated,
And soon I’d be so roasted,
I’m the smartest kid in town,
But I can’t solve her frown,
It make me wonder constantly,
‘Why are girls so tricky?’
