“When Can I Go Back”
When can I go back to when rainbows were just rainbows,
When people kissing was gross,
When I didn't care what other people thought,
Beach to when it didn't matter how big my stomach was.
I wish I could go back to where nothing mattered.
I wish I could go back to when everyone was your friend.
When you didn't have to worry about being involved,
When you didn't have to have homework everyday.
I miss when everything was perfect because in our heads,
Nothing could go wrong,
In our heads, everyone was kind,
I miss when life was perfect.
I loved when everyone was together all the time,
And no one had to worry about getting a ride.
I miss when looks didn't matter
When no one actually cared how you dressed.
Now all anyone cares about is how you look,
How you dress,
How you act,
Who you hang out with.
If your teeth arent straight,
Your hair isnt the same as everyone elses,
If your clothes are dirty,
Or even if you wear sweats one day,
Everyone judges and bases you off of your appearance.
Its not fair,
ITS NOT FAIR!
Nothing is fair anymore,
School,
Friends,
Family,
Looks,
Nothing,
Nothing at all.
