Weeping Willow
A weeping willow,
One that flows with the wind;
Sits there,
Calling again.
I wonder then,
How it sits so calmly;
For the wind is crisp,
And it looks so lovely.
I sit on the bench,
That rests under this tree;
Reading a novel,
That makes me feel seen.
The lines in this novel,
I feel resonate with me;
Because it talks of the weeping willow,
And how lovely it be.
This place feels like home,
Although away from it be;
This spot fills my mind,
With comfort and glee.
