Disappointment
Did I disappoint you again?
Not surprised, I disappoint myself too
I know it’s been a while but don’t get used to it
I’ll always disappoint you
The impossible expectations you’ve pushed me to have
The lines that I have crossed
Just to prove to myself that I can be worse than what you expect
That I can be what you really think I will be
I’m a disappointment, it’s ok you can say it
You’ve said it a thousand times before, why stop now?
What’s different now?
Oh that’s right, people are here
How could I forget?
We’re all happy and you’re proud of me
Goes back to an empty home and then I’m a disappointment again
Goes back into the same bullsh*t but it’s ok
Because as long as I’m the perfect kid in front of people
And fit in as my role of disappointment then everything will be just fine
