Silence roars in an echoing mind

Thoughts so loud they become static

A single trail illuminated by a blacklight

A black thought

A black hole that sucks me in and down a dark and dreary path

Wandering through a haunted ghost town 

Being hunted by long-discarded fears

The insecurities that hide behind a stained glass mask

Leering faces warped through years with a lack of sunlight

I look in the mirror and a monster looks back
