we
are in the sky
hovering
in mistaken
knowledge
and entitlement
not blue
but
empty.
full of calls to
other worlds
but expansion
is their escape
they see our trifling
and bend the universe away
to keep
their everything
their knowledge of their own existence
out of our
never ceasing,
drowning, trapped
elliptical hell.
