Life is give and take
That's what everyone says
Supply and demand that's how we survive
But then you love
You'll give, and you'll give, and you'll give
And expect nothing in return
Not when your cheeks begin to sink inwards
Not when your hands grow thin
Not even when you grow gaunt and pale
Nor when you find yourself starving
No, you won't expect a single thing
Oh, all system is lost
No lust or hunger, you've escaped a system
But never completely
You'll crave even some flies
Feel starvation grip its way around your stomach
Crying and whining noisily
You'll lick your lips as flies zip by
But not a peep you'll make
Because you dare not take
Maybe just maybe
The system of give and take is right.
