Favorite Quote:
I am a wound walking out of a hospital.
I am a wound that they are letting go.”
- Sylvia Plath

My test scores are improving,

my friends are sweeter,

but I miss the daybed at dawn.

I pine for those dewy mornings,

the three of us sprawled on the front lawn,

the grass stabbing at my skin.

Our bad grades,

our crooked smiles,

our hearts overflowing into the focus of my camera.

Those chains that bound our bones -

have your hands forgotten them yet?
