What is Love?
They say love's a feeling, a touch or a grin
But for some, they don't know how to begin
For some it's plain yet completely complex
For other's it's easy and can't be a flex
To some, a father's care or a mother's touch
To some it's the world, but to others, not much
Love can be many marvelous things
They say if you find it, it'll give your heart wings
The touch of a finger or a tip of a hat
Surely everyone longs for something like that
To some, it's a flame, a spark on hot coals
Cuteness and romance or all couple goals
To some, it's friendship through thick and through thin
A hug that brings comfort or a lingering grin
Whether roses or doves or maybe warm hugs,
Possibly even matching his and hers mugs,
Love has just one definition it's true,
It can only be what it means to you

I was inspired to write this after me and my boyfriend were discussing when to say "I Love You"
