Lilacs
A lush green meadow filled with lilacs. In the middle stands a girl, singing her songs. Her clear warm voice fills the meadow as the sun shines bright above her. Not a cloud in the sky as she sings her little tunes. The scene seems painted, so perfect, and cute.
A lush green meadow filled with lilacs. It seems to twinkle at night, the stars above dancing in the sky. Calm silent nights at the meadow. No crickets or mice scurrying around, no birds chirping, only silence.
I hate it, the calm. I hate it, the loneliness. I hate it, the perfect painted picture.
Why can't it be like this for me, why did she have to leave? I want to hear her sing her beautiful tunes, I want to hear her clear warm voice. Why did she have to leave? Leave me behind.
As I stand by her grave holding her flowers, I pay tribute one last time. A bouquet of lilacs, she would have loved. We have to part ways. We must leave these fleeting feelings behind.
