Ti-n (song of time)
The pedicab whirls forth
Water-stained calash stirring sounds from the ringing vortex
And undulating ribbons squeeze time along the slimy slush
Wavering come human shadows, jolting
wood shaky in rusty wane
Lost century’s memories last
oozing from the plastic casing with drapes
From radios unseen the pitched voices ride with the car
Impenetrable, dripping in space
at the ends of hair of the elder lady
in strips of snowy charcoal
Though the watery drips never touched
Nor can she clench the knots of thread drawn
from the ribbon of time
Upon the stodgy tranquility of air
old songs stir the space, sediments flow
Under damp summer glooms, strain
stingy memories finally brake the car
Time replies upon the break
at the rim of paper wrappers where wrinkles stroke,
rubbing dancing plastic:
From sweety bites of the brewed steamed cake
among plain vests, polka cotton
lyrics time echoes in sweat
