My favorite emotion

Lately, anger has grown on me 

I’m happy it’s here

And not hiding out anymore.

The old me would’ve sacrificed her feelings

For your amusement.

And I truly have never loved anyone

The way I love you.

And I don't think I ever will.

Which is horrible and unfair 

On every person that will come after you.

Because god I love you so much.

I gave you so much.

And you absolutely ruined it

For anyone who's going to come after you 

Because I can’t give them the same.

Because now I can’t live without pessimism and fear.

I’m so scared all the time that they’re going to hurt me like you did.

I don’t know how I’m ever going to get over that.
