Dancing Pressure
In the bleak of winter, the blizzards reign king
In the beginnings of spring, the tornado ravages the plains
In the heat of the summer, the derecho brings heavy rains
In the fall the hurricane surges, and makes me ask “what is that thing?”
The world of weather can be beautiful
The world of weather can be lethal
The world of weather can bring thrill and joy
The world of weather can bring shrieks and death
I am like the eye of a hurricane
Calm and collected while surrounded by chaos.
I am like the wind shear of a supercell
Straight-lined and always moving forward.
Wherever I go, the weather always follows me.
Because I am like the weather
I come in many shapes and forms
But no matter what, I’m always there.
