Now I have.
I saw you and I felt like I was dreaming. Or rather, in a nightmare.
My body wants to let me sleep, sleep away that face I’m glad I didn’t have to see to close.
I want to do all of what you never cared to encourage.
I would love a good nap.
A good meal.
I’d love to eat right now.
And not to cry. To smile and know that as of now, I have. I have myself and my boy. And never again will your hand touch mine, and moreover, I’m not responsible for if those hands of you’re are cut or clean.

You are not responsible for anybody else’s well being. Unless you have a child. Then you should take care of them.
