Firefly Foxtrot
Can the night be any more beautiful?
Always changing and shifting
Like the waves on the ocean
If the stars could talk, what would they say?
Go forth among us, among the stars and shadows,
Over the dusted fields of time and space,
Run like a wolf, fly like a crow.
Iridescent drops once fell from the stars
Overlapping worlds, creating a dance that
Never stopped to wonder what the worlds thought
Never ceasing to amaze, a firefly foxtrot
Again and again, they dance, little fallen stars
Glowing carefree unafraid of this cold world,
And never leaving the flightless ones behind,
Not even when the wind blew them apart
