Flannel
The flannel you first gave me,
And insisted it was mine
I refused to accept it,
So it did take some time
And though I wear hoodies more than flannels
I still have that blue and grey fabric of plaid
Laying on my chair
To remind me we have more
Than either of us ever had
With those terrible people before.
