the perfect raindrop
the perfect raindrop
the storm in my heart
how lovely as the pain grows
as more and more perfect raindrops fall
the storm continues to grow
as I'm rejected by the world, my world
and forced to stay in the closet
the perfect raindrop falls to the floor
but my eyes continue to make more
seeing jokes and scrolling through the internet
to seek comfort and reassurance to hide the pain
told that religion will fix me
that it's just a phase that I'll grow out of
while i have to live through the most painful feeling in the world
which is what's causing these perfect raindrops to fall
are those that are supposed to love me for who i am
forcing me inside that closet

This is about the downside of the gay community. It's not because of the haters but rather loved ones turning against each other because of love. The speaker is crying because they're gay and came out but was turned away from a loved one because of it. I may not like the same sex but I support it. <3
