Anxiety swallows the heart;

Speculation consumes the mind;

Butterflies nauseate the stomach.

 

What is life's meaning?

Wandering through the dark, 

I ponder this defining question.

 

A chick plummets from its nest; 

A squirrel concedes a nut to a rival; 

A snake loses its nutritious prey. 

 

Giving the lows its pain, 

Giving the highs its excitement, 

It dictates the natural way of life.
