Maybe in another universe
Maybe in another universe,
I'll feel that I belong,
Instead of having to rehearse,
Every little thing so I don't say something wrong,
Maybe in another universe,
I can ask for help when I need it,
Even as a child I was always adverse
To asking for help when I'd rather just quit
In all honesty I'd rather drown,
In all honesty I already am
Maybe in another universe,
I'll truly speak my mind,
But instead I'll disburse
Into journals I've enshrined,
whilst I bite back my opinions, thoughts and voice,
Because nobody really cares what I have to say,
To be silent is a choice,
But the repercussions
I must surely pay.

I took inspiration from the trend on Tiktok to make this poem. I just struggle with all this a lot.
