everlasting peace
I sit in that room forever
That room that costs me gracious indignity
The quiet sounds fill my ears..
And I pretend I can’t hear.
For those sounds of those who sing,
Remind me of her,
Forever will be my peace.
And all I’ve ever thought of, were those beautiful sounds.
Those of her humming..
Singing that pretty song,
Though, she didn’t sing that.
That song is her beauty.
For sometimes I wish forever, meant everlasting peace.
Forever does not mean always, but your beauty you inhabit..
Entices me, like that forever.. I have always wished.
Was me.
If that forever was mine, I'd hold it in my grasp..
Except.. It’s not that forever is your beauty,
And not my everlasting peace.
Though I think of you..
I’m glad it’s forever..
You granted my everlasting peace.
