June through August,
the months that mean the most,
It’s about late nights,
bonfires on the beach and bathing suits.
Barbeques and lemonade,
with the iced coffees from Avalon.
My hair is lighter than the sand,
and my nails painted bubble gum pink.
Memories on the beach,
summer is my happiness.

This piece of writing got me really excited for summer and my favorite place of all times, Avalon NJ. I have grown up going to that beach every summer and makes my 3 months of no school complete! This writing piece was also inspired by my favorite show "The Summer I Turned Pretty."
