Sister Eternally
Kind equal, you understand me.
I don’t believe I’ll be here for long,
But the time we’ve spent together has been enjoyable.
I would not give an hour of good labor for another year.
I know others, and have no great need of you.
A child’s friend you are.
I wish I could stay longer.
You are very pleasant,
But we often quarrel.
I will see you tomorrow,
And maybe after.
Oh greatest of friends,
We are the truest equals.
We wish one wish.
We pray one prayer.
We dream one dream.
I mourn with all my soul,
That I can’t spend everyday with you
Anymore
Sister Eternally, Sister, far away.
Together we were born,
With three day’s separation,
In the third month of the year.
Sisters Eternally, we were bound
on the thirtieth minute of the twenty-ninth day,
Of the sixth month,
Of the twelfth year of our lives.
I’d give all my possessions.
I’d give every drop of water in the sea.
I’d give every stone under the earth.
I’d carry a million crosses.
I’d write a million melodies.
I’d work good labor all my life.
If one day we’d die together.
