I Love, But I Hate
I love the feeling of the sun glaring down on my skin,
But I hate the hot and muggy weather.
I love the seasons changing throughout the year,
But I hate the bugs that come with it.
I love the feeling of wearing Hoodies and sweatpants,
But I hate how people might think Im not put together.
I love eating out,
But I hate spending more and more from rising prices.
I love traveling,
But I hate bumping into people every way I turn.
I love sleeping
But I hate how Im considered lazy.
I love my family,
But I hate the thought of them thinking my passions won't get me anywhere.
I love the freedom of growing up,
But I hate the thought of getting older.

I created this piece in my high school creative writing class, and I'm really proud of this poem.
