Can't Hear
Desperate cries in the foggy sphere,
Someone's calling, loud and near,
But still, I cannot hear.
Yet, I long to catch the sound,
So I crouch low to the ground,
Only to get my clothes smeared around.
Like a gentle marmot in the earth,
I twist my head, for all it's worth,
Seeking solace in the dirt's embrace,
Yearning for the eternal place.
But still, the voice remains unclear,
"Ah——ah——ah"!!! my scream severe,
I couldn't hold it back, I shed a tear.
My heartbeat quickened in that space,
I heard the voice, familiar, yet out of place.
