Fingers gently on the keys

Deep breath in

Deep breath out

Slow at first, find my pace

Steady, practiced, perfect.

Fingers slowly take the lead

Flying across the  black/white keys

Sound flooding and flowing out,

Beautiful h a r m o n i e s

Getting louder

Growing stronger

Majestic s y m p h o n i e s

My heart beats out the rhythm

Can’t stop

Won’t stop

Pouring everything out

My heart, my pain, my love

For Music

Filling up the room,

Pouring out the windows

Notes floating away

Like butterflies on the wind

Like a hurricane on the loose

Like a waterfall crashing down

I lose myself in it

And in the music

I am found.
