Daydreams
She sits all alone,
And nobody knows
What she's dreaming about.
With that empty face,
She can stare on for days,
Into a world that is all her own.
She dreams without cares
And I find it unfair
That she can be so simple.
Her thoughts are so pure,
Yet she is always so sure
She knows everything.
She is never concerned
With the outside world,
For she lives in a land of faeries.
And she sits all alone,
So we'll never know
What she's dreaming about.
