Goodbye Pain
moonlight and stars
you whisper goodbye
I see you from afar
and fight the urge to cry
this all happened so quickly,
so fast
but I should of known
after all the time that's passed
I thought you were the love in my life
but things turned out all wrong
our love ended in so much strife
and now I'm relieved you are gone
I don't really know what happened to us
and frankly I don't really care
the words you spoke, crushed me into dust
now I realize, life isn't fair
you can never come back
I simply won't let you
you won't go through with your plan of atack
and to hurt me again, you can't do
you broke my heart
in half, in two
and if I were smart
I'd have known not to trust you
SO NOW:
I set you free and without you I fly
on golden wings
like an angel up high
I'll forget you
like I've always wanted to
and when we're through
I'll do what I want to
