Come Together
Who is in the dark?
I could see the fence's shadow
If i tried hard
I can see the power
I can see the sea
From the lighthouse on the hill
I can see where I'd like to be
The city's skyline feels like home
The streets are where i stand
But the ocean feels more alive
Little rock people
Made of sand
The birds all whisper
They're talking to me
They too can see it
The poetry of the sea
I wish they'd see it
But i guess they don't
The wind, the waves
The way the willow works
I wish all the animals would come
The deer, the hawks,
We all sing the same song
The turtles, the birds
The wind, the waves
We'll all be one
We'll all be brave
From the lighthouse on the hill
I'll watch it all, I'll watch it build
Until one day the sky will crack
And then we'll go all the way back
Back to the beginning or should I say
The turtles, the birds
The wind, the waves
