The Things You Say
You say you're open minded
But close doors that aren't yours
You say you accept diversities
But think yours are worth more
You say you believe in equality
But only for what You thinks right
You say you see the truth
But shut your eyes from the sight
You say you love everyone
But treat them with distaste
You say you'll stick around
But leave with so much haste
You say your free-willed
But do just what you're told
You say you mean every word
But that lie's getting old
You say a lot of things
But where is the substance?
You say your vision's good
But you need to adjust it
You say that you're living
But what's life on a string?
I say open your eyes
And see what the world can bring
