Fool's Love
Am I a fool for loving you because all of this seems to be so true.
When you hold me will it still be the same?
You're the only person I can put to blame.
When you kiss me will my lips burn with hate?
I can no longer leave this to fate.
My lungs are gasping for air, my heart is starting to tear.
My head spins, my eyes ache, every inch of my being is going to break.
My stomach in knots, while my tounge tied,
How did I not know your words were a lie?
You couldn't have loved me if you could let this be.
You couldn't have loved me if you would leave me for she.
You begged me back, but your love held a great lack.
Am I a fool for loving you because all of this seems to be so true.
My brain is jumbled, you ran with my heart and you fumbled.
I gave you my everything, I gave you my all, I'm trying so hard to stand tall and not fall.
When you touch me how will it feel?
Did she take the very best steal?
So here I ask, am I a fool for loving you because all of this seems to be so true.
