Much More So Than They Used To Be

And even the past had to admit:
The future's looking pretty good
The person I strive to be
Is better than the person I was
And the smile that trims my face
Is greater than the frown that adorned my mouth
How things are
Is nice, bright and beautiful indeed,
Much more so than they used to be.
