Storms
I hear the almighty drum roll,
Dynamic, breathtaking,
Coaxing me in,
But I’m no fool.
I wait,
wait,
wait,
Then the whole orchestra drones into action.
The bittersweet melody,
The Pitter Patter of timbale drums,
The monotonous drone of the cellos,
It’s music to my ears.
I settle down, feeling peaceful,
And watch as the heavens cry,
As the gods argue.
The music is climatic,
The battle deadly,
As the storm lives on.
