A Hiking Trail
With the feeling of nature lying deep in my heart, I immerse myself into walking down this trail, formed from dirt and leaves, which have fallen from the October trees. On the side of the trail lies a long stick. The bark is nearly completely peeled off and the center is hollowed out by tiny insects. I lift the stick into my palm and it becomes the aid to my treacherous but beautiful walk ahead. I follow the deep footprints of my predecessors to a place where the snowy days and visible breath can never catch up with me.
