Rain, I miss
Walking through the woods alone while it rains,
I soon stop dead in my tracks,
I can see your beautiful face,
Feeling in the moment as it waits,
Rain starts to pour in,
I don’t notice, I just look you in the eyes,
Nothing is better then to realize,
The one you love is standing in front of you,
Our hands grab, feeling the warmth,
But I see a tear drip down your cheek,
I look at you with a expression,
As you look at the sky then back down at me,
I soon know why,
I wipe the tear away then the rain stops,
The sun doesn’t show up,
A breeze comes,
I look at you one more time,
You smile at me,
I smile back,
We soon talk,
I hold my tears back but you know,
I soon walk towards the cabin,
I approach my friends alone,
They ask who I was talking to,
I feel like telling them you,
But I say nothing and wipe the tears away.
