Blue girl
Her soul hath shed
Bloody pearls
On her death bed

Sing to her the doubt
Dance away her pain
Melt me with your
madness

My sky will shatter
Without one ripple
And shimmering crystals fall
Where I'll walk forever more

Shimmering crystals fall
Where I'll walk forever more

Blue Girl is one of those things that just bursted from me with such clarity, I found it surprising how easy it was for me to bear my soul in this one poem.

I absolutely love the imagery, especially the referance to pearls because they're the kind of "gem" that's always wonderful to use in poems when you're talking about certain emotions. Wonderful imagery with the ripples and crystals. You should read some of my poems and tell me what you think and help me with my imagery skills which I'm trying to develop. DANKE SCHON!
