I Will Wait
And when I take my last breath
I will not regret the life I had
I am still living it through
and will never leave you
And when I get to those gates
I will ask God to not let me in
For I will wait for you
No matter how long it takes
If it's seconds, days or even years
I will sit there waiting
Until God says it's your time
And when you get to those gates
you will first notice me
we will walk in together - hand in hand
like past time's sake; my very best friend
