My mind's eye stirs
but does not open.
Heart thumps on
evenly
but I don't feel it.
Like a ghost, a wisp
of air,
an apparition,
I don't feel. I am
drifting off.
The pain is too great
and no one seems to notice
no one seems to care.
If your out there
I am out here
waiting
for you to
wake me up again...
