Remember
She sits there staring holding back the tears
Today is the day everything came crashing down
She can’t believe its been five years
Since she lost the center of her world
She thought it was the end of her life
When she lost the superhero of a little girl
Now she looks back trying to remember
To picture his face is getting harder
She can help but cry when she thinks of that November
Nothing could stop the tears or take away the pain
Everyone tried but there was nothing to be done
But then that day finally came
When she could get back to right
Pick up the pieces
And not cry herself to sleep at night
Now she sheds a tear every once in a while
On days like these when she looks back
Especially when she can’t remember his smile
