To give up my smile
The smile was plastered on to my face.
To give up the smile was to give up hope.
To frown was a way of giving in.
I wasn't going to let her control my life,
tell me I'm never good enough.
She is better then me, she tells everyone.
Is liar really that much better?
I stopped begging for forgiveness, and
learned to be free.
I learned what person I am, and what person I'm not.
If its someone you don't like, you don't deserve it.
I'm not giving up the dream of being me, to be you.
