Christmas
With plum and sugar canes in their dreams
They whimper in their sleep at the thought
Of what Santa might have left
Under their evergreen tree
In the morning they tear down the stairs
Screaming on the top of their lungs
"It's Cristmas! It's Christmas! Wake up, Everybody; It's Christmas!"
And thunder to the tree with a gleam in their eyes
Eyeing the presents with childish glee
They tear open the presents
And shriek with delight
As they find what they had wished for
Their hands grabbing so tight
The hands turn snowy white
They prance and dance as they thank the sky
At Santa Claus waving goodbye
And a ho-ho-ho to you
Ans a Merry Christmass to all!
