Murder Scene
Broken bodies
Limbs tangled
Splayed across the floor
Like ragdolls
They do compare
Bent at awkward angles
It’s obvious what is done
And what will be
Of these lonely souls
Their eyes
Burn holes in the paths they follow
Though it’s clear the owner is
Not seeing
Not actually looking
They are just blank stares
Just trying to tell their story
The gruesome tale that would make
Some cringe
Just existing as nothing
Because they don’t really exist at all
Just
Waiting
