Footprints
She tip-toed across the sky
Saw her reflection down below
She was only falling up
There was nowhere left to go
Her converses made imprints
On the clouds that floated by
She spun around, in unison
With that never ending sky
She tried to reach her home
But she was trapped above the surface
Her daddy didn’t cry
He only searched to find a purpose
In the mornings as the sun rose
Her loved ones were always proud
They could just look up and smile
At her footprints on the clouds
