An Ode To Bad Things
An Ode to Bad Things,
That I have now overcome.
I have murdered my bad
Choices, thoughts, events, and times,
That now rest in a grave.
The bad things,
That were cold-hearted and evil.
They were like a scar,
That leaves a mark behind,
They were as though,
A stain that never washes out.
Those bad things,
Tore my heart in half,
Hard to stick back together,
Hard to put back in one piece.
Those bad things,
Have made me who I am today.
I climb over those bad things,
Destroying them as I make it to the top.
I am almost there!
I can feel the door’s presence.
The door of happiness waits for my entrance,
The door know that,
I have encountered with bad things,
And it whispers to me,
“I have now overcome.”
